A.L.TECH Series includes two different machine categories:

• ALsleeve is a line of machines for the automatic application of heat shrink sleeves, which if "slipped" on the product, allow them to be sealed or labelled to provide an innovative and highly-effective decoration
  
  
• The units of the ALcode series are systems for the printing/application of self-adhesive labels.

ALsleeve

ALsleeve is a line of machines for the automatic application of heatshrink sleeves that is for plastic sleeves, which if "slipped" on the product, allow them to be sealed or labelled to provide an innovative and highly effective decoration. ALsleeve, manufactured by the US company AXON is a versatile and compact system for the application of heatshrink sleeves (in PET, PVC or Polypropylene).

It can easily be used for the application of tamper-evident seals for protecting cups and lips for foods and chemical and cosmetic products, thus providing true anti-break-in-security.

ALsleeve may also be configured for the application of full-body sleeves. Thanks to the capacity of this heatshrink system to follow the product shape faithfully, highly effective decorative results can be achieved, especially on products with special shapes.

Finally, this system may be usefully employed for combining two products in a multipack for promotional purposes.

The machines of the ALsleeve series are made completely of stainless steel and can be easily installed also on existing lines. They can cover up to 80 pieces per minute with the possibility of handling products up to 300 mm in cirumference, with a full range of accessories, which increase their autonomy and performance.

A series of heatshrink tunnels complete the range; they are especially effective and suitable for any type of heatshrink sleeve.

ALcode

The units of the ALcode series are systems for the printing/application of self-adhesive labels.
They may be interfaced with a computer and can apply the just-printed label to both still and moving products.

For label printing, ALcode can integrate the various thermal transfer engines made from the Japanese SATO (or compatible). Which has specifically developed them for the use on automatic applicators: resolution of 8 or 12 dots/mm., up to 300 mm/sec. of print speed, 4 ", 5 " or 6 " of printable width.

In every Alcode unit, the mechanics, pneumatics and electronics have been suitably integrated to meet the typical requirements of machines operating in an industrial environment, which need to combine reliability, user-friendliness, accessibility, and interchange ability.

A range of standard devices has been engineered for the application of labels, thus enabling ALcode to apply labels in any position and at any linear speed.

The following versions are available:

• Air-blow applicator, with or without piston, for non-contact labelling of moving products.
  
  
• Tamp applicator for contact labelling of still products, including to sunken areas.
  
  
• Swinging roll applicator for contact labelling of products running at high speed.
  
  
• Rotary arm applicator for front/back and/or corner labelling of both still and moving products.
